Stevenage Borough Council for Wates Living Space
Building Warm Futures
Wheldons was approached by Wates after being recommended by Stevenage Homes, who were greatly impressed by our work on previous phases of their capital investment programme. Working for the first time with Wates, we co-ordinated replacement of more than 1,000 new heating systems as part of their broader contract for social housing refurbishment which exceeded Government minimum standards.
We were required to carry out a large number of installations at short notice, which needed a rapid but effective response from out expert installations team.
Wheldons were also required to work cohesively alongside a number of other contractors, while delivering on a fluctuating program and changing targets.
Our team was quick to respond, and remained flexible throughout the project in order to modify our service according to changing demands. Regular constructive co-ordination meetings with other contractors on-site, meant we made sure that everyone was performing and delivering to an excellent standard, and that residents would be not only satisfied, but delighted with the service that we delivered.
