Driving Turnaround for a Capital Investment Programme

Turning around a contract in difficulty. After an extensive vetting process to test our customer care and management capabilities, Wheldons was appointed, initially on a trial basis, to take over as heating partner on a contract that was previously struggling to maintain programme and meet KPIs.

The challenge

Accurate diagnosis of previous performance issues and speed of mobilisation to solve them was key to supporting Mears in adhering to their agreed programme on behalf of the Council and ensuring resident satisfaction with all forward works.

The solution

Wheldons developed a close working relationship with Mears and other supply chain specialists on the project. Regular dialogue ensured that we helped to improve programme co-ordination and that individual homes were completed in accordance with the overarching programme.
